This is one of those deeper references we love here at CultSub too. This quote is from poor Stacy during Rick & Morty Season 3 Episode 6: Rest and Ricklaxation.
After their mental breakdown and visit to the best spa in the galaxy, Morty has a new found sense of confidence. He isn't even remotely rattled when he quickly strikes out with Jessica on the first date. He almost immediately approaches Stacy at the bar and brings her home where she unfortunately becomes part of a complicated altercation. As the healthy versions of Rick and Morty are about to be swapped into the world of toxic removals from the spa, Morty reaches out to her for help. She replied calmly, "I need to hear our safe word, Morty" to which he responds "SEA CUCUMBER!" She quickly (and unknowingly) sacrifices herself to the toxin world in which she thinks may be some sort of sex dungeon.
This moment itself isn't exactly the funniest moment in Rick & Morty, but the sea cucumber safe word makes a serious comeback. We lost it laughing during the end credits when Stacy is accidentally released from the toxic world by a tour group and screams "SEA CUCUMBER" repeatedly.
