Labyrinth Inspired - I Move The Stars For No One Owl T-Shirt
FUN STUFF
King Jareth moves the stars for no one! Or does he? No matter the case, we had to add this Labyrinth "I Move The Stars For No One" T-shirt complete with barn owl to our inventory. It's a little more "Bowie" than most you'll find out there, and WE LOVE IT.
Anyway, as far as the potential David Bowie lyric misinterpretation...
Played by our beloved David Bowie, King Jareth may say (or sing) that he moves the stars for no one, but we know the lyrics of the song go something like this;
"How you turn my world, you precious thing. You starve and near exhaust me. Everything I've done I've done for you. I move the stars for no one!"
To us, it seems King Jareth is saying he's done everything for Sarah, even moved the stars for her during her time navigating the maze trying to find her little brother Toby. Of course, Sarah disagrees. He hasn't done much at all from her perspective, but in his twisted mind - he has done everything. This is why he's expressing such frustration. Don't believe us, check out the video we've included. Who doesn't want to watch David Bowie in those tight, leather pants! RAR!
