We love Weird Al Yankovic at Culture Sub T-shirts. This quote from the new WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, "be as weird as you manna be" really spoke to us. We had to couple the pin-up legs and accodion together as seen on one of Al Yankovic first band flyers.
Although there is a lot of controversy around Weird Al 's work, we can't help but jam out to nearly every Yankovic music paraody. Also, the new Roku "documentary" WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story had us chuckling non-stop. However, at the end when Weird Al is shot on stage accepting his award (before the SHOCKER happens), we got choked up. As a company based on Austin, Texas with the slogan "Keep Austin Weird." this Weird Al quote really spoke to us. We have a weird little community here. We do our best to accepted and even idolize the "weird." So, this is our tribute to Weird Al and our weird city of Austin too that is hyper focused on music of all kinds.
